You may record your character information however you like. Send it to me via email when you are finished, and I will import everything into Fantasy Grounds so that we will be ready to begin.

Step 1: Choose your Race and Background

The first thing you should do is decide what race you would like to play. Next, come up with a background story and personality for your character.

Step 2: Choose your Birthsign

Next you must determine what birthsign your character was born under. This will have a number of mechanical effects on your character.

Step 2: Assign your Primary Attributes

Each character receives 25 points to spend on increasing his basic attributes. All attributes start at a base of 10. A character can increase an individual score by spending some of his points. Likewise, he can gain more points to spend on other scores by decreasing one or more of his ability scores. No score can be reduced below 7 or raised above 18 using this method. See Table: Ability Score Costs for the costs of each score. After all the points are spent, apply any racial modifiers the character might have.

Table: Ability Score Costs

Step 4: Select your Starting Class

Once you have selected your starting attributes, choose your initial character class. As you gain experience and character levels, you may select additional character classes as you wish.

Step 4: Starting Equipment

This game is set in the Elder Scrolls universe… do you really think that you’re going to start the game with any money or equipment?
